About Illuminated David Youtooz
Limited Edition of 500 pieces, exclusively available online and in-store at FYE.
David is back, and he is going so fast that his body has warped the colours. Sprinting forward at a speedy 4.5 inches and wielding a pistol in his outstretched left hand he leaves multicoloured layers of shadows in his stead, as his long pink, yellow and teal hair flies upward on long strands revealing a streaked undercut. A determined look crosses his neon yellow face with bared teeth and a concentrated frown as he puts all of his efforts into his aim. Dressed perfectly for Night City, he wears a bright yellow jacket with blue and pink stripes, a popped collar and the Edgerunners logo on its back over a teal spot. His gold and pink necklaces fling to the side in motion as yellow suspenders hang over neon pants which are highlighted with pinks and blues in the folds. The windowed display box has been illustrated in the same illuminated colour pallet of yellow, teal and pink. In this rainbow of colours you see David running forward in front of a pink building as a pink drone follows beyond, being held aloft by blue smoke and flame. The interior of the box shows yellow cyberpunk designs circling around the Edgerunners logo, on a teal backdrop. While the protective sleeve showcases a night scene with David and Lucy taking in the night air, flanked by sides of solid teal showing the figure inside.
Based on the world of Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red’s futuristic RPG game, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is produced by Japanese animation studio Trigger and follows David Martinez on his journey to become an Edgerunner and eventually a Night City legend as he violently negotiates his way through its vibrant and dangerous streets.
